Who we are. Smart Properties is a trading name of companies in the M & C Smart Holdings Ltd group (parent company number 16390212), head office 113–115 Belvoir Road, Coalville, LE67 3PH. The group company that deals with your enquiry is responsible for your personal information on this website. Contact: admin@smart-properties.uk.
What we collect. When you use a form on this website we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, email address, the address or postcode and type of the property, and any other details you choose to give us. Our website host may also keep technical logs (such as your IP address) for security.
Why we use it, and our legal basis. We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to talk to you about whether we can help, and to take steps you ask us to take before any agreement (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and steps at your request). We do not use them for marketing unless you ask us to.
Who sees it. Our staff who deal with enquiries, and the companies that provide our website hosting and email (Fasthosts for website hosting and Microsoft for email). We do not sell your details. We may pass your enquiry to the other Smart Properties group companies where that is needed to deal with it, but we do not share your details with other businesses.
How long we keep it. If we do not go on to work together we keep your enquiry for 12 months and then delete it. If we do work together, we keep records for as long as the law and the agreement require.
Your rights. You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for a copy. Contact us at admin@smart-properties.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
Cookies. This website does not use cookies to track you. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and at the moment visitors to the website are not given any cookies. If that changes, we will update this notice. Our links to Facebook and Instagram take you to those sites, which have their own cookie and privacy policies.
Where your information is processed. Some of our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we expect them to use appropriate safeguards to protect it.
Changes to this notice. We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the bottom shows when it was last changed.
